Dave Ludwig spent 21 years as a beloved teacher and coach at Calvary Christian School in Pacific Palisades, pouring his heart into hundreds of students across English, history, and the baseball field. He was known for genuine care — the kind that stayed with kids for decades, long after they'd graduated. A devoted husband to Victory for 23 years and father of four, Dave built a life centered on real connection over recognition, presence over perfection. When diagnosed with ALS in 2024, he faced it the same way he lived: with honesty, humor, and an unshakable belief that life is measured by love given, not years lived. His motto, borrowed from The Shawshank Redemption, became his legacy: Get Busy Living.
